And so we embark on a 30+ km in the middle of the day. Idiots.
Old Man Storr is somewhere around here
Or is this Old Man Storr?
Whatever, it's all pretty
This was probably the most beautiful hike we went on in Scotland, and I'm so disappointed my pictures don't live up to it
But I'm still going to bombard you with them
We had 8 freakin big hills to ascend and descend. You can see some of them in the background.
What an amazing texture
Hmm, the sun is beginning to set, and we still have a ton of hills to climb.
Those sheer dropoffs look harmless here, but they're pretty frightening to stand above
The sea, the sea
Yup, we went up and down that
Yup, we're going up and down those
They don't look so bad from this angle, but when you're climbing them, your thighs know
We've come so far
Do sheep who have good views make better wool?
Uh oh, he's worried we won't make it
But I'm still going to linger and take pictures
Because it's all so lovely
Staying to the non-soggy cliff edges
And that's the moon. We will continue our hike in the dark and arrive back at the campsite around one a.m.
