And now for a completely different kind of travel: private tour with family.
Statue of Chopin in Łazienki Park. Before this trip, I didn't even know he was from Poland!
Some important building in Łazienki Park
The stunning inside the as-yet unopened Museum of the History of Polish Jews
Outside the museum
And now we venture into Old Town Warsaw
Much of this is reconstruction because the Germans almost completely destroyed Warsaw during World War II as a punishment for the Warsaw Uprising
Maybe some aspects have a kitschy Disneyland feel to them. Cousin Terence, good sport, played along.
And of course the Polish are known for their churches
Artwork for sale! Come, tourists, come.
For some reason this square reminded me of Plaza Santo Domino in Cartagena, the one with the recumbent Bolero statue
All I want is dessert
Fun with fountains
Fun with doors
Fun with ice cream
Fun gay pride parading
