Fiesta and Fireworks

View Teenie Travels Around the World on chschen's travel map.

Endless fireworks tonight for the fiesta celebrating Nicaragua's patron saint. Tomorrow we will be in Isla de Ometepe, but for some reason I don't believe it. There's nothing unbelievable about it, and yet--I simply don't. I don't believe anything right now except the cannon-like booming of the fireworks and the crack in the wall lit by my headlamp. And the pillowcase crisscrossed by a dozen or so of my shed hairs.

I should sleep, else I will be tired and irritable tomorrow, which will lead me to write one of these entries where I complain about everything and seem ungrateful.
